The tour will kickstart in Bhimtal- the lake city of Uttarakhand which is named after the famous character in Mahabharata Bhima. Sitting at a height of 1,370 meters, the place is in abundant with natural beauty giving a feast to the rich avian life dwelling in the region. Pangot is the next destination of this magical journey. Located just fifteen kilometers from Nainital and bounded by dense thickets and hidden creeks the place, the place is a humble abode for more than three hundred and fifty species including Cheer Pheasant, Koklass Pheasant, Himalayan Rubythroat, Siberian Rubythroat, Himalayan Woodpecker, Black Francolin, Scimitar Babbler, etc. From Pangot you will be heading towards Corbett- the last stopover of the journey. Named after the famous tracker, naturalist, and hunter who played an important role in wiping out the maneaters from Kumaon and establishing Corbett National Park as one of India’s significant wildlife sanctuaries. The park is not only seen as the turf of the majestic Bengal Tigers and Asian Leopards, but it is also harboring Ibisbill, Tawny fish owl, Pallas’s fish eagle, Spotted Forktail, Grey Hornbill, etc. Led by an expert naturalist who knows all the stakeouts, we will ensure you have a whale of a time sighting and photography these beautiful species while cruising through the topsy turvy lanes of the Himalayan Foothills.
